KBS+, OTT app with free access to KBS content, launched

KBS announced on the 4th that KBS+ has been launched, coinciding with the broadcast day of KBS.

KBS+ is the next version of myK, the digital mobile service that offers real-time broadcasting and hot clips of KBS TV programs. It is the only OTT app where viewers can watch KBS content for free. With the transformation into a video service platform, KBS+ has focused on content, design, and user convenience.

KBS+ provides real-time broadcasting and replay services for five channels (drama, joy, story, kids, and life) of KBS 1, 2TV, and KBS N, as well as over 50,000 pieces of KBS content. At the KBS Luxury section, viewers can enjoy documentaries such as "Chamago-do," "Noodle Road," and "Culinary Anthropology," as well as KBS historical dramas like "Immortal Admiral Yi Sun-sin," "Taejong I Bang-won," and "Hae Shin."

Various modes tailored to user preferences are also available. The Kids Mode is designed to provide both education and entertainment for child users. The Simple Mode, designed for digitally marginalized groups, allows users to easily and conveniently access content with just one button.

The disaster safety service notification feature for all citizens has been enhanced. In the event of a disaster or emergency, KBS+ will quickly notify users of the situation through news alerts integrated with the KBS scheduling system.

KBS+ can be downloaded for free on Android and iPhone devices.
